Yesterday evening i got my approval notices for myself and my wife. AVM has not changed. Still saying on Jan 4th resumed.
Anyway here are my details. I am in the PCee List. Please check the Pcee list for further information.
RD : 07/12/2001
ND : 08/23/2001
WAC : 01-269-5xxxxx
Approval Date : 3/21/2002.

The letter says to go to LA Downtown. But i am planning to go to Santa Ana.I could find only one experience in Santa Ana. I would welcome more help on this.

For People who stamped in Santa Ana/LA

My GC was approved on 3/26 as per the AVM and mailed. I have been waiting to go to India very desperately and have booked tickets for India on 4/07. That means I should get Passport stamped latest on 4/5. I have not received the approval letter in mail yet. I am just thinking that in the worst case, if I get my copy but my lawyer does not, can I go for stamping with my courtesy copy or do I need the lawyer\'s original approval notice? I am sure my approval will also say LA but I would like to go to Santa Ana too. Please let me know your experience. Will they do it with courtesy copy?

How Long?

Do, you know how long did it take for him to receive the courtesy copy after AVM said that it was mailed? Did the lawyer receive the original the same day?
 
Completed Stamping

I just completed stamping in Santa Ana. It took only less than an hour from entering the building. No rush, it all went ok and i have the red stamp in my passport.

Gueeswho - You can go to Santa Ana office with your copy. They did not ask for the orginals. I have not received them from my lawyer. So, wait for your copy and proceed.

Thanks a lot. Most people said that I could take the courtesy copy. But you know how it feels when you have only one week and have tickets booked for India next weekend. It is just that "JUST IN CASE...." senario that is making me nervous.
