Last week we saw a glimmer of hope as on Thursday somebody said that they had a November approval.

We all thought the November flood would start. We all waited anxiously. Friday came and was gone. The weekend passed by. And then Monday - nothing, Tuesday - nothing.

And finally today we have an approval! What? Oct 1, 2001? No offense to Dinasaur and congrats to him on his good news. But as far as our wait goes, after such high expectations, after so many days of our waiting to hear, the INS manages to squeeze out one more approval ... and its for October 1 ???

Well done, very well done. They are doing an excellent job, whatever they are doing all this time.

This time they must have upped the priority of of assylum seekers from the French Cheese Shortage Disaster of 1997. What better explanation? I guess we'll find out the reason for this yet another lull soon. God help us all.

Why so hurry? You gonna get ur GC eventually so it is pointless to think abt something which is not in our hands. Just one approval in the forum does not denote that INS has stopped processing 485, they will do at thier own pace. As per Murthy, INS is giving low priority to all 485 processing since GC is for future employment and they asssume all applicant hv jobs. INS is mostly concentrated on other areas like TPS, H1, F1, L1....
