Dear all,

I had a question need your help. I am currently on my OPT with an F-1 status, which will be expired on Sep. I am now working as a research associate at a big university. I got an job offer from a small company and the job will start at Apr. 15th. My future boss had already initiated the H-1B application for me. I want to submit my I-140 petition right now through EB-1A (Self petition) before my new job starts, Is there anything I should pay attention to ?

As long as you are only filing I-140, I personally do not see any issues.
