Alright, as I had stated last week, I got a LUD on my I129 on 10/21/2007. I thought it was the same kinda LUD that I got on a bunch of stuff couple of months ago.
My theory is that the last time they were ready to approve and then they found out that I was still stuck in Name Check. I wrote to the USCIS Ombudsman around August this year. I got a reply from his office that I will hear from USCIS in 45 days. I got a letter from the USCIS late September telling me I am still stuck in Name Check. Well, I said, that's it, I have done enough.
So, when I got the LUD this Monday on my I129. I thought nothing of it. But yesterday I got FP (Code 3) notices for my wife and daughter in the mail. There was no LUD for any of their applications. And my daughter has never been FP'ed. I had my FP Code 3 done a long time ago, so I am not expecting one for me.
What I am thinking now is that probably my NC came back clear and now instead of approving first and sending the FP later is not the way things are
going. So, when they are done with their FP, I might see some action. I will try to call the CS 1-800 number and get an update today if I can.
This is just my theory, I might be wrong, as we all know there is no rhyme nor reason to what and how USCIS works.
