Hi all
I have an odd question and very appreciate if any body helps.
Have you ever heard about faked notification (congratulations) letters?
I mean the letters which are the same as KCC letters but not from them.
IS IT POSSIBLE???????????????????????
You know, yesterday I emailed KCC to be aware of my case status but they told me this way:
"The information you have provided does not match the case. Please resubmit your request with the correct information for KCC to properly assist you. "
I was confused that a friend told me the above story! And said maybe my letter was one of the fake ones.
But I submitted my electronic application in WWW.DVLOTTERY.STATE.GOV
And nobody knew about it, even if about my address because I had written one of my relatives address and he himself didn’t know that!
I just resubmit my email for them and wrote the address according to the letter I've received from KCC.
I'm very anxious and know not to do. I think I'd better call them ASAP.

I think you should call them ASAP.

I personally find it strange that someone would go to the trouble of faking the letters. I don't see a reason for that.

It is probably just a misspelling of something.

I received a FAKE congratulations letter via email. Ironically they didn't know I was already a genuine winner!
I reported them to the Dept. of State.
I have never heard of fake paper letters.
There are sample KCC letters available for viewing on the following site. This way you'll know and try to sort it out with KCC.

Which of your information did KCC said was wrong?
Was it your Case number, Address, Date of birth etc?

I am very sure KCC will not tell you the exact one, the only way out will be, may be you call them and ask more questions/explanation.
I've heard of a fake notification letter through the email as one was sent to me but not by post.

I call KCC and tell them the story,
but you know they told me the same way "the info doesn't match the case!"
finally I found that at the time of original(online) entry I wrote my year of birth 1975 instead of 1976 and also i misspelled my spouse's name but I fill out my 230 & 122 forms with right info(1976 and correct name spell).
although they said the info refrence for my case is the forms 230 & 122,they have not update my case yet.
I sent them another email and ask them to update my case with the correct info, and I hope they do it. :(
So i don't know what to do now :confused:
is this matter can affect my case,however i have their email aas a document.

I called and Emailed KCC and told them the story.
I hope they update my files ASAP. ;)
