Unfortunately, it is not possible. ( this a common reason for not being granted the visa before Sept 30th ...)
This will be initiated by the consulate/ embassy ( for US clearance checks ).
The thing you can do is to make sure you have your police certificates / court records ready for your interview : depending on the country, it can be fast ( take just a couple of weeks ) or rather slow ( more like months ) to get the reports. So, just be aware of the policies depending on the countries you lived in : do this reserach NOW, not when you get your interview date.
You do not need US police certificates if you have lived in the US.
