How about building a database by running all EAC numbers (sequentially through a program) on the INS case status page and parsing the resulting HTML to find the status.
For every case, INS page does specify both the type of case and the status.
Have you researched the legality of what you suggest? I suspect that it would be breaking quite a few "privacy laws". Now we don't want Greaty in any trouble do we!?
