Amazing Speed at VSC for EAD renewal !

I filed my EAD renewal on May 31st, 2002. Was going to call the lawyer this week to get the receipt information and lo and behold ..a surprise..got EAD cards approved in mail yesterday. Case was approved on the 15th of June. Why can\'t do they the same with 485 :(

Also a friend of mine who filed 485 early May 2002 got his receipts in 1 week and already got FP notice scheduled for July at Newark, NJ. Hopefully we should see a better approval rate.
 
Because a third party Contractors are doing all these works for INS !! they seems to be pretty fast

 
 
reason is:

there are not many applicant/candiadte now a days in INS. INS issue comes after labor approval for EB category. Due to economic downturn, lots of laid off and firing in IT business. So not much foreign applicant are in line for INS stage. Almost all of them got laid off in labor stage and few survivor are avialable for INS stage.

futuregreen is a laid off or fired worker. Not enough money for living so he wants to earn some money from his back...
 
This was the normal turnaround time for EAD approvals before Sep 11. Good to see we are getting back
