Am My mom Eligible for applying citizenship (one over 6 months trip outside the US)?

My mom is going to apply for US citizenship and I would like to confirm if she is eligible for it.

Greencard: 2/15/2010
Trip 1: 8/10/2010 to 2/16/2011: 6 months and 6 days
Trip 2: 5/2/2014 to 10/2/2014: 5 months

Will my mom be able to apply for citizenship now?

While my mom was outside the US, My brother and me and our family remained in the U.S, and my mom was listed as dependent in my tax form, Can those be provided as the documentation to establish that the applicant did not disrupt the continuity of her residency?

I really appreciate for all your help!

Yes, those things could potentially establish that she did not break continuous presence.

But even if she did break continuous presence on Trip 1, she would still be soon able to file for naturalization anyway. As soon as 4 years + 1 day has passed after she came back from Trip 1 (and she also has been a permanent resident for 5 years), which will happen on around 2/17/2015, she can apply under the 5-year rule. It may be easier to just go this route, because you don't know whether you can show she did not break continuous presence.

When I checked the website and it listed the 4 year + 1 day rule is only for trips longer than 1 year....

Thanks!
