Am I smoking pot or gross incompetence in CSC?

I've just called CSC and they told me that my priority date was when I filed I-485, so it's not current yet . Earlier they replied to a congressmen stating my priority date was when my LC was filed. Amazing

How do you talk to CSC directly? I can only talk to 1-800-375-5283 and issue an inquiry there.

I assume you know the trick to get hold of CSR using the number above. I did it for the first time and was surprised to hear the call was handled by California Service Center. Maybe they route you based on your area code or something, maybe it is routed randomly. Who knows.

Yes, I tried it before and it worked. However, recently after my PD is current, I cannot hold a CSC officer anymore. What I got was an CSR and he issued an inqury for me. Maybe I should try it again. Thanks anyway and good to know this still works.
