Am I really stuck?

I called NSC today towards the end of the day. After a twenty minute wait, I managed to speak to an IO who asked for my receipt number and almost immediately said that my background check is pending. I asked if she could explain what that meant, but she said that she had no more information. I got the feeling she was just trying to get rid of me. Is it possible that I am not actually stuck?
 
I concur with greynicolls ... I have had confirmation from my congressman that I am stuck. My wife cleared NC but not me :(
 
I asked to submit an SR to make sure that I am actually stuck in NC. I am not sure that contacting Congressman is worth it right now, given the recent NC related news. This really ruined my mood for the week.
