Hello all!
I was working for a company A and got laid off on Feb 28, however I was getting severance pay till Apr 25. My new H1 was filed with company B on Apr 21, Am I out of status from Mar 1st thru Apr21 st. How does it effect my green card processing? Since I am on the severance pay while applying for Green Card do I put the end date with Company A as APRIL? If I put the end date as Feb28 with Company A and Start date with Company B as APRIL 21, will my green card be rejected???? Thank you for your time in answering this question.
