Am I going to be out of Status...

Q1. I entered US on 2/10/03 with a visa on Employer A with a validity upto 1/2/06 and have not gone out since then. My H1B has been transferred meanwhile by another employer with a validity upto 1/30/08. If I want to go out to Canada or mexico, I am afraid it will take 4 weeks to get visit visa and by then my current visa will expire. Am I going to be out of status after 1/2/06. Pl. give me as much as detail possible. What are my options.

Q2. Is it ok for me just continue to stay and get my visa extended only when I visit another country next time.

Q3. Is there any time period after expiry to get the visa renewed.

***You are taliking about visa stamping in your passport?If it is,then having I94 up to 1/30/08,you are not out of status.Visa stamping is required only if you want to travel out side USand reenter.Other wise valid I94 is OK.

**As explianed above,yes.Unless you want to go out of US and return,it is not mandatory

**None, for visa stamping in passport.
