My EAD is expiring on 07/28/2005. I am sending my EAD application through Fedex tomorrow 4/22/2005 - in case they receive it by 4/26 or 4/27 - and I do not get my EAD in 90 days then I won't be able to avail my interim EAD. Will then I be out of status?

I am working on EAD.

These days they are approving EAD in less than 60 days, you should be alright, dont worry about it. You will still in status, I am sure.

I was in your situation before.. With my experience, when you send FEDEx send it 1 day or over night courier. it only extra $20.. But it will worth for the peace of mind. Make sure they receive it more than 90days count (Even one day).

You can go to local USCIS office and get iEAD if you donot receive it in 90days.

But I am pretty sure you will get in 90days, I got in 60days. But better you take the worst case.

My suggestion is send out the file immediatly, make sure they receive it on MONDAY.. it is worth..

YOU WON't be out of status if you donot receive EAD by 28th.. Only thing is it is not legal to work during that period. Take off from work for few days..

You'll always be in status -- irrespective of whether you have a valid EAD or not.
The pending 485 application gives you the legal status to stay here ... you need EAD only to work.

I think you should get your EAD well before the expiry date - don't worry too much :)

I am sending it today and they will receive it by Monday. Only thing is that they take time in giving Notice date and this I want for 26th or 27th at the most. Not sure if we can do anything about it????

My last EAD receipt date was 20th Feb and Notice date as 24th Feb.

If you send it today u should be fine.. There was Sat and Sun last time when you sent b/w RD and ND..This time u should be ok...
 
As mentioned in the form instructions for EAD and AP - I sent the side faced pics . Gurus are saying that I made a mistake -
Pls. let me know -

What happens if I send them the front face pics as soon as I get the EAc#. Will that be accepted?


Also, in case I have to wait for an RFE - how many days we are looking for RFE resolution - after I submit the new front face pic?

Besides, will I be eligible for interim EAD in case its more than 90 days?

Lastly, can I anybody help me with the VSC 1800 no. where in I may call and get the status?
