I have a 4 year bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering. I have about 10 years experience in the IT industry. I am currently here in the US on a H1B through a company for which i am the major shareholder. I am a consultant for a large School Board. My current job description includes Development, testing and maintenance of the SAP system at the School Board. The SAP system is exteremely critical for the School Board as it controls the total business system including payroll for teachers, transporation for school children ect. and my role is extremely critical. Over the last couple of years i had undertaken major development on this system and i am now almost irreplacable here at the School Board.
I wanted to know if i could be eligible to apply for GC through NIW as my services are truly benefiting the educational system by making the whole system more efficient / User friendly. I might also be able to get strong recommendation letters from some very senior persons at the school board endorsing the importance of my work for the school board. Please also let me know the probablity of pulling off my case through NIW. Please also suggest a good lawyer if you think i have a fair chance through NIW.
