Hello All,
I have been married to US citizen for 3 yrs now. out of three year, 1 year i had status of Adjustment of status for 1-485 and 2 yrs as a conditional resident. I read following on for requiirement to apply for form N-400 .
If you:
Are currently married to and living with a U.S. citizen
AND
Have been married to and living with that same U.S.
citizen for the past 3 years
AND
Your spouse has been a U.S. citizen for the past 3 years
I meet all these requirements to apply . However, It also mentioned the following .
3 years 3 years as a Permanent Resident without leaving the
United States for trips of 6 months or longer
As i mentioned earlier, I only have 2 year as perrmanant resident and one year as adjustment of status status. Am i eligible to apply for N-400 .
Please advice . This is very important.
