Hi all,
I work at Arizona State University in the discovery of natural product leads from natural sources. I joined this place two years back and my boss wants to do the green card in the OR category. However, I feel, my qualifications fall short of the requirements. Please go through the following brief summary of my resume and suggest alternatives or how else to proceed with the OR process.
(1) Ph.D. from India in natural product chemistry.
(2) nine years of research experience.
(3) 14 published papers and 34 citations. One of the compounds isolated by me, because of its novelty, inspired another well known chemist to synthesize it. Its synthesis might have been incorporated in a Ph.D. thesis (I have to get a proof for this). Another compound might (we have not tested it) have platelet acting factor (PAF) antagonist because of its structural similarities to a known PAF antagonist.
(4) I have received the internationally recognized Alexander von Humboldt research fellowship from the Alexander von Humboldt foundation, Bonn, Germany.
I would like to know if I can apply for LCA or apply in EB2 or EB3 categories.
Thanks for your time. All replies will be appreciated.
