Am I eligible for H visa?

I have finished my studies in nutrition and dietetics and although I could start to work in the US with that, most people do an internship in a hospital (either affiliated with a university, or not) to become a REGISTERED DIETITIAN. This opens up more jobs in comparison to not doing the internship. I am looking around Boston as this is where my boyfriend and I are moving for his work at the end of this month. I will be returning to Australia in August 07 where I will work for one year before coming back to the US to do my intership. Leaving the country however cancels my student visa. I can therefore look at doing my internship though a university hospital since they provide student visas. However, there are not many university hospitals around Boston so I have been contacting independent hospitals as well. Bringham and Women's Hospital said that if I am accepted to their internship program I would get a salary and would be considered an employee of the hospital. However, they could not tell me if that meant I could get a working visa and how. Any ideas?
