AM I close or just landed on a new journey?

I called and a super nice (I mean compared with others in Nebraska center) lady. She said my case was assigned to officer on 10th of Dec. Is it a good news? Can I expect something magic happen on the horizon?
Gurus, please let me know.

Yup It's a good news but not good enough. As per IIO, "my case was assigned to an officer as of November 25".

But no one knows when INS are going to lift the 485 FREEZE!!!

Could you provide more info. about ur case please...
