Hi Friends
Today I received two letters, one for me; one for my spouse. Here are the excerpts...
Please be advised that you have been granted permanent resident alien status as of the above date. This letter should not be regarded as proof of that status..... You are being processed for an alien registration card which will be mailed to you at the above address within the next few months.......
If you require proof of your status for employment of travel, you may request a temporary stamp be placed in your passport.

Does this mean our AOS is approved and should expect physical GC soon? Does it take few months (my PD is 02/2000 in EB3) to get the physical GC and how long?
Now, we had recently applied for the I-131 Travel Document (2nd time since 1st one expired). Is the above AOS letter an aftermath(result) of I-131 application?
Further more, my child's approval letter is yet to be recieved. In the letters, the adj class is E36 for me and E39 for my spouse. What do they mean?
Could you share your thoughts on this? Esteem members who have received similar letters may share their thoughts.
Thanks :)
