Am I alone from June 2001 filers...

Hi there:

I am not sure if I am the only person left out from June'2001 RD.
I called INS 2 weeks ago and all she said that was that the case is pending. Did not even mention if it was assigned to an officer.

No RFEs so far and only God knows where the case is

I finished 1 year and 1 month and still counting. I guess I have to just wait untill INS shows some mercy.

My friend had RD on 5/1 . He lives and works in NH and his case is straight forward. Thru local senator he communicated with INS and only second week of July his case saw some movement (i.e he recvd RFE for paystubs , w-2 and tax returns). He never changed jobs or residence. INS replied to senator that "This case is awaiting security clearance"..

There are cases where RD and ND got mixed up. So yours may be one of the cases like that. That is your case may be with August cases.

However at this stage you should contact local senator because INS official release says they are doing August cases now.

is it a CP-AOS case

mkbalusa;

was your I140 approved for CP or did you at any time switch to CP thru I 824 from AOS and then went ahead with AOS....
You may need to follow up your case with the VSC and NVC in that situation...

RD : 6/29, Still Waiting ...

Received RFE for employment letter, pay stubs and tax returns on July 21st, 2002.
