Alternative to Proof from DOL for 7th year extension

USCIS is asking for additional evidence that I qualify for
7th year extension(proof that my labor is pending for more
than 365 days). My attorney says he doesn't get response
from DOL/BEC for the proof that my labor is pending for
more that 365 days. Will CIS accept a proof from
State Workfornce Agency where the labor was originally filed.
 
Ask lawyer to use Freedom of Information Act

DOL/BEC or infact any Govt agencies Centers cannot deny request for information. As far as I know there are two means to get information from
Govt agencies (DOL/BEC/SWA) if normal channels(like in your case email
to backlog centers) dont work. Your lawyer can use two means

1. FOIL(Freedom of information law) request to DOL/BEC/SWA to open your file and provide information

2. Right to get Private information from Govt agencies - I dont know what's the law acronym called. Your lawyer can request DOL/BEC/SWA to get
private information about you (client). This is useful when your employer
is not co-operative and not providing you information he has.


In both cases GOVT cannot deny release of information.

The normal channel of requesting thru email or fax should work,it has worked
for many people including me.
