I had left my GC sponsering employer about a year ago. I am on real good terms with them. I did not send AC21 to VSC.

What do you think I should do? Should I go back to my GC Sponsering employer and work for them for 6 months or more?

Will it be an issue if I continue to work for my current employer?

Please help and advise.

If I were you, I would definately go back and work for the sponsoring company because of two things here.
1. They supported your GC till the end even when you were not working for them which is really a great character as far as employer is concerned.
2. As many immigration lawyers suggest, if you are planning on getting Citizenship in US, it is always advisable to work for the GC sponsoring employer for atleast a decent period of 1 Year or atleast a minimum period of 6 months so that the GC was used in good faith and not misused.

But again, most people make decisions based on practical situations like Pay, Job Security, Position etc and not on morals like Faith, Trust etc. Now it is your call and hope that you make the right call for your future. Good Luck!

Does this still hold good based on the fact that USCIS is now allowing people to change using AC21?

My sponsoring employer is really close to us. They are good. However they cannot pay me what I am earning now :(

Hence the questions.

About the point # 2: How true it's? I am really confued about this. If it's true then why USCIS allowing us to change the company during the GC process using the AC21. We need start a new thread abot this issue.
