Already left GC sponser, GC now approved, should I go back?

I had left my GC sponsering employer about a year ago. I am on real good terms with them. I did not send AC21 to VSC.

What do you think I should do? Should I go back to my GC Sponsering employer and work for them for 6 months or more?

Will it be an issue if I continue to work for my current employer?

Please help and advise.
