Hi you all...
I guess my case is a bit out of the ordinary and I decided to open a new Thread. I would appreciate any comments you may have as I'm in a research mood.
I'm a Mexican born and raised in Mexico and lately I've been in the States under different visas, but now my mom told me she was born in El Paso TX but her dad took her to Mexico and register her as Mexican only 15 days after her birth.
My grandma is no longer with us and grandpa I don't even know him as he's been out of our life since forever.
With that said. My mom has no birth certificated whatsoever from TX and doesn't know the hospital she was born, but she knows for sure she was born there as that's where my grandparents use to live in the time.
Right after that they move back to Mexico and rise my mom in Guadalajara.
Bottom line I want to know if there is any way to prove she was born in TX, and is it possible she could get her citizenship?
if she does... how does that affects me? I'm 29y.o.
Please let me know anything, and if you do have any questions ask them... I'll try to answer them with all info I may have.
She was born in May 1st 1955 El Paso, Texas

Thank you for your help in advance

You need to contact vital records in Texas and see if they have her birth registered. Next if she was born at the hospital, the hospital would register her birth,if not there will be some sort of record in the hospital,( you need to figuer what hospitals where in el paso in 1955). What does it say on her Mexican registration of birth.

Thank you Sk28,

I will try to get started. I will ask my mom what does it say on her BC asap.
I'm still in Orlando and she in Mexico so this won't be as quick as I wish it would but i'll do my best to get things done and as soon as possible.
Thanks for the tips tho
