All who went for early FP2 - Any Risk for going to earlier than scheduled

I am trying to figure out if there is any risk or danger in going to get the FP taken earlier than scheduled date.

I do know that pretty much every one who went on scheduled date got their status or LUD changes between 2-7 days after their FP date.

Are there any one who took their second FP before their scheduled date and their status message or LUD has not yet changed?

Please do posts if you went for an early FP and your status message of LUD has not changed and if changed after how many days

I did my FP2 a month earlier. My LUD never changed until I submitted my RFE and then approval (< 3 months after FP2).

Depending who you want to believe. I would say the risk is small. FP do expired in 1.5 year. If you filed I485 before 2003, I would think your FP2 will not expired before you get approval. Also, BCIS people may not allow you to do early FP. it's just pure luck.

Based on my case and what i read in this forums, i think i made a mistake of going for early FP. I can't think of any other reason why there is no decison on my case yet.

After 2 fp online status changed on 06/09/04 to 'on june 8, the result of.....' and again status changed on 06/10/04 to 'on june 9, the result of....'

did the receive my fp on 8th or 9th?

I went to 2FP 1 month before my schedule FP.
2FP done on 05/03/2004
Scheduled 2FP 06/07/2004.

Approved on 07/07/2004. ( Rupent - Aug 2002 - Shripad)

Wife had to go for 3rd FP her approval and kids is still pending
Wife's 3rd FP 31st May 2004. 485 approval pending should get approved next week as per my calculations.

I think May2002 you should get approved by 08/12/2004.

Choice is still yours.
Best of luck.
