Hello All:

On Wednesday this week I faxed them over the consent form and made initial request to help with our cases. I did send an email to Cynthia as well(no response from her). Since then I haven't heard from them. Yesterday I sent a follow up email. No response either. Is this normal? Usually how much time do they take? Do they expect us to mail them receipt notices etc as opposed to fax to start working on the case? Any help is appreciated.

yes it's normal , but they will get back to you soon , but thye reallt don't help out, it's better to call USCIS and start level1 enquiry this triggered my Approval last week.
 
Level 1 enquiry

Can you please tell me what is meant by Level 1 Enquiry and how I can do it? I sent a letter to my Congressman by certified mail but have seen no response so far.

I havent heard anything from him yet. I sent an inquiry about my I-485 case too to Mr Corzine's office about a week back after i was sent a form to fill up.
