I went to the Ambassador's meeting yesterday. The Ambassador, Mr. Qazi, some other officials, INS director Ms. Estrada, with other INS officials, were also there.
A lot of questions were asked by the Pakistani comminity and answered by the INS director. The meeting lasted for about 3 hours. Ms. Estrada, seemed pretty nice at the meeting.
But if one has any doubts, seek an attorney before one goes out there. Also, it is not at the 8101 stemmons freeway anymore, check the ins website for current location. I believe it is 3101 stemmons...
If you need an attorney and are in the Dallas area, let me know, I can hook you up with mine. I don't get any brownie points, but she is pretty good.
Depending on where you are, a group of us maybe going next week in Dallas.
If anyone would like to speak to me regarding issues discussed, e-mail me at

We can exchange number and talk or just e-mail...
I went with a few of my American friends, but all in all, the meeting went very well. A lot of issues were also discussed by Mr. Ambassodor of Pakistan to the US.
