...we transferred your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status to another BCIS office for them to schedule and conduct your interview. Scheduling can take several months. That office will notify you when they schedule your interview or take other action on your case...

Stain, sorta good that they have atleast been touched, leaves me alone in this painful wait. Were you expecting a transfer?

SM, I am still with you, waiting, in the different line though.

Yea, interview was kinda expected because of my participation in mandatory youth organization affiliated with the communist party of the Soviet Union. Every school student was "expected" to become a member otherwise it could result in some complications such as university entry exams later on.

My office will be San Jose unless those morons have transfered us to elsewhere like Ala-fucking-bama or something...

Are you first one from former Soviet Union who wants to receive green card?

Are u kidding? ;)

I believe, there are thousands of Russian EB immigrants in the US (not as many as Indians though)
My colleague Alex Koval, was a member of this board. He applied a month earlier than me, and got transferred too. His interview was scheduled month after and he got his approval in August 2002.

I think ViktorK who is a member of this board, too, is still waiting.

good news for you Stain - at least something is happening - and that has got to be better than nothing happening !!

Congrats! Stain, see, good times are coming to you! I believe all the Nov, Dec cases are not forgotten, give INS a little credit. What is happenning now is probally some new officers jumped in and started with March, April cases, while the nov, dec cases are still in the original officers' hand. It is interesting to see it happens after the week of Apr. 25, when ins unfroze i485.

Have a great weekend. You will hear more good news next week.

:) :) :) :)

Good stain,
congratulations, Now it has become a treand to wish on RFE or transfer.

SM,

now it is your turn, lets see what, baby boy or baby girl ?

Sorry, I could not provide a link for that. Have read too many stuff. There was one artile talking about that some officers assigned for special security check will be back to their original work and the deadline is 04/25. And people expect to see more activities after that date, which is true for you.
