This is just a usual routine happens every year for the auditing. They are not going to shutdown the offices. They are going to freeze the transfer of files from one office to other. The audit will take place from Oct 1st till Oct 5th. After that the services are about o resume.

Hello All,
Last year we filed for I-485 @ VSC. They received the application on 9/26/2000. But the notice had an RD of 10/24/2000 and ND of 9/26/2000. I believe since the GOVT (as well as INS\') FISCAL YEAR is OCT-SEP, and we are nearing the end of SEP in couple of weeks, as per the web site http://www.usabal.com they are just auditing (like A YEAR END PHYSICAL INVENTORY in MAFNUFACTURING terms if yo will). I would not worry. BTW, our 485\'s were approved on 9/5/2001.
