Hey, just a quick question:
On the Receipt Notice for the I-485, in the 'Applicant' box, there is a number above my name starting with an A.
Is this my Alien Number?

Thanks for your help. :)

I know what you mean. As if the English language ran out of words so they had chosen "Aliens" to refer to us. How about "Foreigners" and so it would be the 'F' # rathar then the 'A' number.....which is ironic that in school we try to get as close as possible to the A's and as far as possible from the F's....

Hehe, yes, an F-word, so to say. :D
I guess in the English language, "alien" sounds more official, having Latin roots and all. But it does sound unwelcoming, and well, alien!
