Alien number for a new EB1-A petition

HI, guys,
I am thinking of filing an EB-1A petition to speed up my green card process. I do have an approved NIW and 485 is stucked due to retrogression. I saw some of you sucecessfully did that , I am wondering if you filled the alien numer in your Eb1-a petition. I am just afraid if I put the A# which I obtained based on NIW 140 petition, my existing 485 might be cancelled if the new EB1-A is denied. Please share your thoughts on this matter and thank you for your input.
 
if you don't put an A# on the I-140 it is not important. If in the event that you end up having 2 A#'s, they will simply reconcile them into one number before your GC is issued.
