I read about your case and mine is a similar case.

Please post any updates here.

My details:

My case was transfered to local INS office on 09/17/2004.

I haven't worked for the sponsoring company (never).
Can this be a reason for rejecting my 485 application?

Thanks in advance,

- Sean

I-485 transferred to Indianapolis office

I recieved second finger prints notice for me and my wife. I will be going for FP in Oct. Not sure when they will schedule a interview but I believe it should be after FP's are cleared.
Let's see what happens, I am in a similar situation where I have never worked for the sponsoring company but have all intentions to do so after GC is taken care off.

Update on I-485 Interview Indianapolis office

I am glad to share the news that I was successfully able to get my passport stamped on my interview date at end of Nov.
I would say if you are a future employment case like mine, make sure you take the attorney.
Not that Immigration officer asked me many sticky questions, but just because I felt my attorney never let any room to Immigration officer for any sticky questions.
I just had a minor issue with my wife medical form which Dr forgot to check mark one of the boxes, which was able to take care of same day and get passports stamped. Now waiting for plastic cards to arrive.
I believe I am over the hump now and feeling much relieved.
