Airlines where transit visa is not required

My wife is on AP. We are planning to go to India in Dec.

Any suggestions on which airlines do not require a transit visa.

Do we need a transit viisa if we travel by Air-india via paris even though we do not let us get off the flight.

I am in the same boat and going to India in Dec by Austrian Ailines. I called the airline and they confirmed that I don't need the Transit Visa in Viena if I don't go out from Airport.

Unless I misunderstood here, it is not airlines that demand the transit visas. Countries that impose them. Ofcourse, the airlines will check whether you need(and have one) the transit visa before you board.

Reg. your second question to travel via Paris, I don't think you need transit visa. Since it is a month gap before you travel, I would suggest to check the france consulte site very often to see any changes they are making. Many people caught off guard when UK introduced the transit visa.
