Airline took all my I-94 cards?

I had three I-94 cards stamped together with my passport ( I haven't leave US since 1995). This time Airline officer took all my I-94 cards before I took the plane. Is this normal? Please advice. Thanks

that's normail. You will get a new I-94 card when you come back to US.

Did you question the Pilot of that airline or the flight attendant as to why they took I-94 ?

You must surrender your I-94 when you're leaving the country. The airlines did the right thing.

Dont worry

Dont worry about the I-94s. That's normal practive. Remember, I-94 is a departure record. You'll be given a new one when you enter USA again.

The real problem/question was:

How could you have three I-94's stapled with your passport? Since everytime you leave this country, you surrender your I-94 (so called Departure record). How come officers at POE not paying any attntion to your old I-94 as he/she stapled a new one?

Don't Worry your fine....

It is you and also their responsbilty to take or handover all I-94 cards to INS through airlines. Otherwise next time when u enter at POE it will delay .Dont 'Worry .

If you had extended your H1B stay, the approval notice will come with an I-94 at the left bottom corner, each time you do so.
