AIM or Acehart - Urgent Qst regarding PCC from Singapore - Please help

From the postings on this board, i found out that both of you have been asked to produce Police certificates from Singapore. I have stayed in Singapore for 3 months. I gather from the P-3 information that u need to produce one only if u have stayed for 6months or more. Is that still valid? Do i need the Police certificate?
What about your cases? Was your stay more than 6 months? And also, if you can please share how you are planning on getting the PCC, it would be great.

You need PCC only if

you have lived in S\'pore for more than 6 months. I was there only for about 2 months and have not obtained PCC. Hope this helps
 
Not needed for 3 months but

did you happen to mention your Stay in S\'pore in the DS-230 form (Packet 3)? If so, you need to get it. (The 230 form asks to list residences when the stay was greater than six months)

I did mention my stay in the DS-230 even though it was for 3 months. My lawyer said its better to mention it ,since my passport has proof of that stay anyway. But i have also mentioned the duration as 3 months only. I was hoping to get away without a PCC. Will this be a problem ?
