Does anybody know what will happen when the U.S immigration officer find out the person coming back to U.S from Canada just got his Canadian permanent card? Do they refuse his entry or they write down something on his passport next to the Canadian immigrant visa? What kind of problem he/she might encounter when they enter the U.S after their landing in Canada.
Thank to all.

US Immigration Officer doesn't/shouldn't care what is your status in Canada. They don't write anything in your passport abt that. What they care is that you have current visa and I-94 to enter US.

They dont refuse entry so long as you have valid visa.

For me, the office advised that I should not live in US and have PR in Canada. He even asked whether canadian govt knows about this? But he allowed me entry anyway.
So, be ready to answer....dont worry.
