After Transfer to Local Office

If NSC receives my FBI name check results after my file was transfered to the local Seattle office, will a change in my LUD date happen? I'm not asking about a change in the status message, just the dat!

Thanks

I highly doubt it.

It seems that local offices are a black hole. As soon as your case falls into it, your case will totally disappear from the regional service center's radar screen. At least this is what happened to my wife: After her case was transferred, she did address change, new FP, interview, and background check inquiry. After all of these, the online LUD is still the original transfer date.

There is a possibility that you'll see a LUD change after your name check is cleared, but I believe the chance is really, really small. --Just my two cents.

you are absolutely right. Local district office is just like a HELL...

Thanks for the encouraging words guys :D Actually, I received a couple of LUDs after my case was transfered on December 15th. I think the first change after that was when the Seattle office received my file. The second LUD was when they were looking at my file to send me the interview letter. I'm just hoping that I will see an LUD before going the to the interview next month because last time I checked I was told that my security checks weren't all cleared yet!

One can only hope!!

Good luck on your interview Mr Green. Hope you get your card really soon! You know why they called you for the interview (or was it random)?

I have no idea why they are calling us for the interview. All we received is a letter saying we are scheduled for interviews and a couple of standard sheets listing what documents to bring for all kind of applications. The documents which would apply to us had no check mark infront of them!! My lawyer said I should bring my employer letter and proof of marriage to my wife. I'm just going to bring everything with me!
