RFE (for employment letter) sent by INS 01/12/01
                               received 01/20/01
                               replied 01/30/01
                        received by INS 02/02/01

Same here. My detail:
RFE issued on 1/19, I received it on 1/29, replied it on 1/30, INS received and recorded on 2/5. Nothing Happened yet. I just called the IIO and was told the same "six month waiting...". I have seen people got approved within a week! Well, what can I do except keep waiting...

Hi Ling,
Even my AVM also recorded that it was received on 02/05/01...Looks like our both responses recorded on the same date..I am seeing the approvals with RFE recieved mesgs of as early as 02/19/01.. and I do not understand why we only should be the victims..

Can you pl.. tell me what for your RFE about..
If for employment letter, did your company name ever changed...?

It is for employement letter. My case is NIW, But I did change job after I filled I485. It should not matter for me though.

If you have send your RFE the end of Jan or early Feb, Please post your information here. Why it is taking so long for me and How long is the normal case and how long is the worst case. I have to make a decision whether to renew my EAD or not.
