Hello!

I have obtained a lot of information from this board. Many thanks to those who post their experiences here.

My details are: EB3, India
ID: 3/97; ND/ID: 9/99; FL: 8/2000
RE Received (Employer\'s letter and pay stubs): 2/2001
RE Response sent by Fed Ex: 3/8/2001 (Delivered to SC on 3/9/2001)

This morning, I called SC to check the status of my application. The AM did not give any info other than the receipt of my I-485 application back in 9/99. So, I talked to an IIO. He said that my file does not indicate that I have sent a response to the RFE. When I told him that I sent the response by FedEx and that I have proof of it, he asked me to send the copies of all the documents that I sent earlier. This is making me very stressed. Even FedEx did not help... Has anyone had this experience before? How many days does it take for thye system to indicate that the RFE response was received?

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Its should be a practice for all to call the IIO and asked about the documents they have received or not.
I did it for myself after my lawyer told that they have mailed.
So keep following it up dont,t worry everything will be OK do what ever necessary

fedex will be able to tell you where, when they delivered it.
who has signed it. see if you send it to right address.
if it is right
take that information and call IIO again and tell him this information.
as you rfe is noting major. send the employee letter and pay stubs again with copy of rfe and letter explaining your situation
good luck

Thank you very much for your reply.
I had sent the response to the address that was given in the RFE.
Yes, I did mention to the IIO that day, the tracking info. that I got for the RFE response that I sent via FedEx (name of the person who signed for , time delivered to INS, etc.). The officer just said \'that is fine\', and suggested that I send copies of all the documents that I sent that day, along with a letter explaining the situation.
