I posted this on another forum but got no responses. I feel this forum is so much smarter
I had my naturalization interview two weeks ago. At the end I got two forms.
One was N-652, stating that I passed tests of English and U.S. history and government. Box "Please follow the instruction on the Form N-14" is checked. And it also says: a decision cannot yet be made about your application.
Another form (no name, could be N-14?) has a checked box: No further action on your part is required at this time. Upon receipt of the below checked boxes, your application can be acted upon: Other: ADMIN.
The officer at the interview said that there was a problem with my name check. (I don't have any criminal records...)
So some questions:
1. is this second form N-14 form? At the bottom it only has "WR-821" (ELM) (On the back there are many different check boxes for required documents like taxes, birth certificate etc.)
2. What does ADMIN mean? Did anybody have a similar N-652?
3. How long does it usually take to go through the name check?
Thank you very much for your answers!
