After I140 approval.

Hi

Can please someone let me know what are the steps i need to take after this. I have applied for consular processing and my I 140 got approved. Fyi: On march 18th i had a query and on June 24th i got the I 140 approval. I will appreciate if someone can let me know the next steps.

If you have opted for CP option during the I-140 then you do nothing just wait to hear from NVC for you bill payment.

am in same boat as you ,
I talked to my lawyers and they said they will receive a fee receipt which is 335$ per person and we have to pay that to get the packet 3.
fill the packet 3 and send it to NVC
mean while also research and start the PCC
if you dont have Birth cert try to get that taken care of
those are my priorities now
to reduce timelines , im sending 2 checks addressed to USCIS for 335$ to my lawyer office today so that it will reach them and they can turn it around in a day.
small things could make big difference :)

Have you tried looking at this forum, cptracker.com and immihelp.com.

It will answer most of your questions.
 
CP is handled bt NVC which is part of Department of State. In my case, My Lawyer asked me to send one certified check for $670.00 made to "Deaprtment of State". I received Packet 3 with no problem.

May be some senior members has better understanding on this.

When you send this pkt. 3, the pkt. 3 will take about 1 mo. for review and 2 weeks to go to the respective consualate. Expect your interview in about 2-3 mos. time after consulate recs. the pkt.
 
My 140 was approved on Aug 5th and when i checked NVC Automated Voice Message system ,it says that "No information found on this case number " Any advise what to do next ?


Experts pls clarify .

The visa issue fee for each person is $ 335, payable to 'Department of State'
by MO or Cashier's check.
