After I-485 Approval

Hi Guys,

 Can anyone confirm that it may take weeks or even months to get the plastic green card after I-485 stamping?

Yes, it can take a long time. In fact, this can be yet another source of frustration for people who thought their journey was over. You are dealing with the INS. Remember?

But technically the stamp is as good as the green card for legal purposes.
