After getting passport stamped with I551 date of approval of I485 changes

Has any body been thru this situation, my AOS was approved in july/04, I had my passport stamped in AUG/04. And now the online status says that the my case has been approved in AUG/26/04, etc.
I am throughly confused. Whats happening, I thought after stamping it moves to saying your card has been ordered, instead in my case the status moved to case approved now with AGU/26/04 date.

Same with me. But i think its just an LUD change. You dont have to worry about it. Looks like they've made some action on your (and my) cases. Most probably that would be "ordering of the card".

Sometime after stamping (usually 3-5 weeks) you should receive a sequence of case status updates that read exactly as follows:

Status Update 1 : Processing for your Alien Registration Card or Green Card has been completed. Your BCIS document will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.

Status Update 2 : On [month, day], 2004, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.

Status Update 3 : On [month, day], 2004, the card order was completed and we mailed the applicant's new card directly to him or her

This was my wife's sequence exactly. Mine is still stuck on the first update message, processing complete.
