After GC, shall we have higher pay than the Prevailing wage mentioned in the LC? Shall we accept promotion within six months of GC? I have little higher pay than LC and expecting rise in next month.
One of my friend has $ 70408 Prevailing wage in LC and his current pay is $70,200 and got GC recently. Is it necessary to match $70,408?

If you earn less than what is said in your employment letter that was attached with I-485, you may have trouble explaining the difference when applying for citizenship. At that time, you and your employer would have committed a fraud, which may ultimately lead to adverse results.

Why loose extra money - tell your employer about possible repercussions if not paid the salary and sweetly "demand" for your money. Go for it. No better chance than this.

OTOH, if you are making more money, dont worry too much. More is always good when it is with money.

If you are with the same employer in the same job, they should not pay less than what was stated on the labor certification and the employment letter. But paying more is definitely not a problem.
