After FP ??

Folks, Please help me understand the process.

Here are my details.

MD 09/18/01
RD 09/21/01
ND 11/23/01
Not applied for EAD.
FP Scheduled 02/27/02 in NJ
Cat: EB2, INDIA , State NJ
I heard it takes 3-4 months to get the approval after FP ? Does it really depend on FP date or RD/ND of AOS ?? Pl, clarify ??
Also, once we get FP Does it mean all the documents are cleared and only criminal record need to be checked ? Or still there is chance to get REF ??

Approvals go by RD in most cases

Currently we\'re seeing APR/MAY/JUNE 2001 RD approvals at VSC. Also,there will be a large number of cases for July as EB3 became current last July.

You can still get RFE after the FP is done. That\'ll be when your case gets assigned to an officer for processing.
