After FP Questions?

I have some questions after the FP.

How long does it take the FBI to send a FP back to the Service Center?

Is the 485 "On Hold" until FP is done?

What is the process behind the 485 ?

Acording to what I've read in the forum, it takes less than 3 days for the FBI to process the FBI, is that right?
 
It depends....for paper FP it takes a week to get to FBI and electronic are same day. FBI clears them on same day, usually. FP is a minor(but necessary) step for I-485 major is name check which might takes months and even years. Don't worry much about FP clearance. Your LUD might change and might not, mine never changed before or after the FP, even after FBI clearnance.
 
FP no change

Same at here. My LUD of I485 is still RD and never changed befor and after my FP. I thought it may have something wrong before. Now, it seems normal base on what you and others said. I did't call FBI either. Should I?
 
I have sent an email, will suggest doing that to the FBI, for FP you can call but for name check only email is the available route. The time frame for email reply is 2-4 months. You can find the format and email and number to call in FP threads under I-485.
