after coming to US on a green card

Hi,

My parents arrived today on a green card. This time they want to stay as little as possible. Right now was not a good time for them to come, but they did anyway since, They also don't want to loose the green card. What is the minimum number of days required for them to stay here, in order to keep the green card? What the steps they have to do before leaving the US.

How long they have to stay inside the US right now depends on how long they plan to stay outside after they leave the US.

If they expect to stay outside the US for a year or more, they should stay long enough to apply for a reentry permit (a few weeks). Otherwise, they can leave right now if they want to.
