Change your Status at the Social Security Office, possibly even the DMV. I had to but many don't. Not sure why and then apply for a Passport if you need/want one.

also, you might update I-9 with your employer. also you might update dmv/mva.

DMV rules are different in each state. But usually you don't have to update your immigration status with them right away; you can wait until the license is expiring and you are renewing it.
