after case disappears, does it ever come back online?

Friends,

General consensus in the forum is, case disappearing in USCIS site, means the case got transferred to local office. Does the case ever come back on USCIS site for tracking at some point later when it is handled by DO? Or case once gone from the status is gone forever?

I don't think so

Once it is assigned to DO, it never shows up again unless USCIS decides to change.experts can chime in..
